School Dental Health Camp at Shree Mata Manikeshwari Lower Primary School, Sannur – Kalaburagi District
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, S. Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences & Research, proudly organized a School Dental Health Camp at Shree Mata Manikeshwari Lower Primary School, located in Sannur, Taluqa, Dist. Kalaburagi. This initiative is a part of our ongoing commitment to promote oral health awareness and provide preventive dental care to rural and underserved school children.
The camp was conducted with the following key objectives:

Oral Health Screening of students for dental caries, gum diseases, and other oral conditions.

Oral Hygiene Education through interactive demonstrations on correct brushing techniques and oral care habits.

Fluoride Application and distribution of dental hygiene kits (toothbrushes and toothpaste) to encourage daily oral care.

Referral Services for children requiring further dental treatment at our institution.
A team of experienced dentists, interns, and faculty members from the Department enthusiastically participated in the camp, ensuring that each child received personal attention. Teachers and school authorities appreciated the initiative and extended their full cooperation.
