On 17th September 2025, the Department of Public Health Dentistry at S. Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Sciences & Research organized an enlightening program on Women Freedom Fighters. The guest speaker, Dr. Sudha Halki, Professor in the Department of Orthodontics, delivered an inspiring lecture highlighting the remarkable contributions of women in India’s freedom struggle. She shed light on the courage, determination, and sacrifices made by several women who played pivotal roles in achieving the nation’s independence. The session aimed to instill patriotism and appreciation among students for the often-unsung heroines of India’s history, leaving them deeply motivated and inspired.
