The Department of Periodontology and Implantology commemorated Oral Hygiene Week (20th–25th July) with a series of impactful academic and community-oriented initiatives aimed at promoting periodontal health and preventive dental care. As a hallmark of the celebrations, a Mucogingival Surgery Camp was successfully organized throughout the week, providing advanced periodontal surgical care to eligible patients while reinforcing the department’s commitment to clinical excellence and community service. More than 15 registration for the free surgery is been done. To promote experiential learning and public engagement, a variety of academic and educationally enriching games and interactive activities were organized, seamlessly integrating scientific knowledge with entertainment to enhance oral health awareness among participants. Further enriching the occasion, the department proudly launched an e-book on Ultrasonic Scaling, authored by faculty, developed as a comprehensive educational resource to enhance the understanding of evidence-based nonsurgical periodontal therapy among students and dental professionals. These initiatives collectively exemplified the department’s unwavering dedication to oral health awareness, patient welfare, academic innovation, and the dissemination of contemporary periodontal knowledge
